Freeview HD TV Card

A Freeview HD TV Card is not actually for a Television. Freeview HD TV Cards are computer component that allows your PC to behave similarly to a normal TV. They allow your computer to receive TV channels and then display them through the PC monitor.

Normal TV cards have been around for a long time but it is only recently that Freeview HD TV Cards have become available. At the moment (September 2010) the only Freeview HD TV Tuner cards are available as external USB devices that you plug into your USB port of your computer. There are no internal PC cards currently on the market.
